Man, woman charged in sex for drugs


A man and a woman were charged in connection with a sex-for-drugs incident that occurred in the 17900 block of Dumfries Shopping Plaza in Dumfries around 11:31 p.m. Saturday, said Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman.


Police arrested Hiram Sebastian Dabney, 48, 4017 Laurel St., and Jennifer Lee Lange, 30, of 3635 Dahlgren Place, both from Dumfries, after stopping to investigate a suspicious vehicle, Hernandez said.


Dabney is accused of offering drugs to Lange in exchange for sex and was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and solicitation, police said. He was held in lieu of a $3,000 bond.


Lange was charged with prostitution and released on a summons, Hernandez said.


Each is scheduled to appear in court July 30.
