My aunt is looking for her son that was born on 5-16-69. He was born in St. Paul, MN but adopted through Lutheran Social Services in Eau Claire, WI. Unfortunately, back then the less you knew the better so she does not have any other information. Please let me know and I will let you know.

Your aunt can go through the Lutheran social services and request the non identifying information on the adoption. Some agencies will do the search for you. Social services in Maryland will...using a confidential intermediary.

I was also adopted through LSS, in 1960. I have been in reunion since 1992. Even if you were adopted through LSS, you have to apply to the state first. You can contact the State of Wisconsin Dept. Of Health & Family Services at 608-266-7163 to obtain the proper forms. There are nominal fees, and if you qualify you may be eligible for a fee reduction. I hope you find this helpful.
Good Luck! Nancy ![]()
