Girl born 10/1946 in Ed White, WV - adopted by Hornsby's of Whitesville, WV
My mother was born in October 1946 in Ed White, WV. Her birth name was Maxine Canterbury and she was adopted by the Hornsby's in Whitesville, WV around 1948 after her birth mother died. From what I understand there were older brothers and sisters and her birth father tried to contact Mom around 1964 after her adoptive father died. I would really love to try to meet some of Mom's birth family members if possible.

Hi, Have you tried calling people in that area with that
last name? Or going to the local library to look up the obituary for tha birthmom? It should have her husband & childrens names listed as survivors,just a thought.Debbie
