I'm searching for my birth father. He might have been a sailor[NAVY ?] He was in Jacksonville FL around April or May of 1965. I was due Jan. 17 1966 but born in Feb. 4 of 1966.
I found my birthmother. Unfortunately she died before I could meet her. I have talked to her family. Her brother. He told me that my birthmother was told I was a boy. [I'm a girl] As far as her brother knows, she never told any one my birth father's name. It was said he was a sailor and/or he was in construction. She also said that he was married but seperated at the time. He was from Jacksonville and/or somewhere in West Virginia.
The only things I know for sure is my birth mother's name was Donna Barker. She worked for Southern Bell Telephone Co. in Jacksonville. She was 18 to 19 years old. She was 5 feet 2 inches tall. She had light brown hair. She had blue eyes. She was raised in the Mormon religion but said on my adoption papers she was Protestant. Can any one help me find my father?
