I just wanted to introduce myself. With Holly's permission, I am going to be helping her moderate the adoptive parents board. My name is Brenda Rea and I am a stay home mom of 2 boys that my husband and I have adopted at birth through domestic agency adoption. I am the listowner for Christian-adopt e-mail list and the webmanager for Christian-adopt's website. I hope I can be a source of support and encouragement to others on this message board. I have previously moderated a chat for the adoption triad at a non-Christian site and really hated having to give that up. Hello,
I am an adoptive mom to 3 children...the Lord led us through infertility (which I did not handle too gracefully ;~( but through which He taught me so much about His grace and love!
Our first adoption was closed and we searched for and found our son's birthmom when he was 2 years old. I then became preganant and had a miscarriage, followed by 2 more adoptions...we also had another baby in our home for 3 weeks and the birthmom changed her mind and reclaimed the baby, so we have had many experiences and through it all, God has been faithful! I would love to "meet" others who come to this forum...just hit the Reply to this post and introduce yourselves!

Hey Sandy, I hear ya... I've had five miscarriages and not much grace either - but God is gracious - even when I'm not! You've been through so much! I thought I've been through the roller-coaster of emotions, but I see that you've been on that ride too.

so GOOD to see you! welcome and thanks for sharing.....
The worst thing for me with the misscarriage was asking God why He would allow me to get pregnant and then take away the baby...what God finally showed me was that there is no answer to the why, BUT and this was one of those really big ah-has for me, God was loving me even when I was telling Him to go take a hike and even while I was so very angry with me..He continued to bring comfort and love through those around me....comfort and love that I am now able to share with others.
