Parenting Classes.
I cannot seem to find the info I need for parenting classes. What are the requirements for Washington state? How many hours?
I have asked the SW who did our homestudy and she referred us to a class that is once a week for 4 weeks but my husband can't always make it every week due to work. Is there such a thing as an online class?

are you referring to the PRIDE training?
The state of washington requires all foster and adoptive parents to complete the PRIDE classes. They are free and offered locally in just about every city. It is a 30 hour course. You can call your local dcf/dshs office to get info on when and where they will be.
You also have to have a cpr/first aid/aids/hiv training. blood pathogens class. This is usually a 1 day class for all. Well I hope this helps you. But if this is not what you were referring too can you explain a little more what you are looking for?
