Every year that goes by it gets harder and harder. I miss her so much and I just always hoped she would get to meet us some day and that we would get the privledge of knowing her. We all just want her to know we love her and her adoptive family for giving her the chance at life that I couldn't provide. Have you registered with the ISRR registry? It is the most well known registry. ISRR Also, you may want to also post on the Search & Reunion forum under the New York Adoption Records sub-forum on this website.

hi, Evryone should be asking the other party to sign up with the state. and ISRR - International Soundex Reunion Registry

IF someone is trying to scam you, that will slow them down. Ny asks for copies of birth cert now. from adoptees and so they have become very careful.

Let your support group know when you think there has been a match.

They can help you sort out the real finds.......

If you don't know the person that is offering to help you, again, ask on the boards.
