ISO Birthparents
This is the first time I have posted trying to find my birthparents. I did some research and realize I would have to petition the courts in Texas to open the files and living in Ohio, this isn't reasonable. So I thought I would try through here. I am an adoptee and also a birth parent so I understand both sides of this. The child I gave up is 16, so I have a few years to wait before anything comes of that. But I've had 34 years to search for my birthparents. I was born on 02-11-73 in Fort Worth Texas. That is all I know. If anyone can help or share information that would help in my search, please contact me. Just reading through entries in this forum has helped and I know now that I am far from alone in this quest.
Thanks for reading... ~Marybeth |

Hello Marybeth
I relinquished my bson in Florida and he was in Washington state when he found me.. And I was/am in Canada.. who knows where your birthmom is.. There are many places you can search.. Adoption Registry - Records, Reunion Registries, Adoptees, Search Reunite http://www.plumsite.com/isrr/ TxCARE™ Home My bson found me on a Florida search site.. it was the one common state that we had.. It was the first place he looked.. Jackie |

I can not for the life of me remember the site, but it's something like David Grays People Finder? It has all the TX birth records. The cool thing is, you can check the records of birth from that time, and narrow down from the BC list who doesn't fit. For example: the list of births may say baby girl 2-11-73 along with 3 others. One of those may not match the names when you do the Birth Records check.
I live in TX (adopted in IN), and subscribed to this for a month since they had full TX records and limited from another state. It was fun to play with, but not helpful to me personally. We did narrow down friend of mine who was adopted from it. Good luck! |
