Information to gather for Adoptive daughter
Hi, we just adopted an infant a few months ago. We want to make sure we give her all the info we can. We have a copy of her original birth certificate and her birth mothers name. Fathers name was not listed. We have an address -last known at time of birth. WE have some info on a sib -again last known. We also now have her original SSN. We did not know she had one or we would not have changed it.
Her adoption was contested( because she did not show up at court) so records were sealed( Birth mom left her at hospital and walked away). State adoption. What else can we try and find right now for her so when/if she looks it will be easier for her? Last edited by sunnysideup : 07-18-2004 at 08:00 AM.
