I am a Birth mother in search of any help to find a way to contact my 9 & 10 yr old children. Where do I start. Helpless.....but not Hopeless...

There is really no way of you contacting your 9 & 10 year old children, they are minors, unless you had an open adoption? Did you use an agency?

You might think about keeping a daily journal till it is possible to contact them. This way you could give that to them someday and they could read what your feelings were etc.

pink had a great suggestion...and one more thought, here in wisconsin through the state adoption search program, birthparents can sign an affadavit to have on file so as soon as your children begin a search, all of their information (original name, birth certificate, etc.) is released to them. also, you can put letters in their file so when/if they do start a search they will have them.

Hey guys, Thanks a lot for your input. Some days I feel so helpless and desperate but as each day goes by I remember things that I have read in the Bible like; God will not let us endure any trials beyond what we can handle if we are not able to endure the trial that is before us he will make a way out. Also I find it encouraging that he asks us to supplicate ourselves in prayer to him and let all our petitions be known to him. Like I am sort of doing at this website. God gives us much encouragement and lets us know that others have been through much of the same or similuar things so if people, such as yourselves, want to be loving and kind they will share what they know that may have worked for them and for this I am greatful.
I have a diary or journal since the day they have been taken away but I have had such pain to think of them that I have broken away from writing to them but thanks to your love that I will get right back into my journal and even if it hurts I will share my thoughts with them. P.S. My mom said that she may be able to fly up to W.V. for a visit so I will keep this a matter of serious prayer also I will be saving $$$ to help pay for her expenses.
