Hi,

I am a female adoptee searching for my birthmother or anyone in her family. I was born 1/6/1974 in Glen Ridge/Montclair New Jersey.
My name at birth was Jacine Leigh. I was told that my birthmother, whose name was Nancy wanted to keep me. but as per her mothers wishes and best intrest for me put me up for adoption. Now 30 yrs later and hitting nothing but dead ends the emptiness and lost void I feel is getting much greater.
I have gotten all my non-id information which was very extensive. 4 pages long. You would think that all the information the my birthmother gave, so would be out there somewhere looking for me.
She came from a very large family. She was one of 13 children. She had 7 brothers and 5 sisters. Wow!! I was totally shocked by that one. You would also think with a family like that i would get some leads. Not yet. I am starting to goto local libraries around the hospital that I was born and searching through yearbooks. I am not going to give up!
I would love any advice, guidance and help that I can get, to possibly help make my dream of meeting my birthmother or anyone in her family come true.
