We're in the Richmond area. We just found out we're out of PGN. So 4-6 weeks from now we'll be traveling to Guatemala. We're all on Cloud 9.

Congrats to you!! We are in Lynchburg, and finally meet the length of marriage requirement with our agency. We'll be meeting with the cw in less than 2 weeks, and then the agency director the week after. Hopefully, our process will be speedy, but we'll wait as long as we have to for our baby to find us.

June 2006- First meeting with agency. Not married long enough, need to wait 1 year.
March 2007- homestudy begins, but then put on hold for 1 year.
June 2008- Back in the saddle again
September 2008- Homestudy approved, now just WAITING!!
February 2009- Presented with baby born situation, but declined based upon multiple issues.
September 2009- Expectant couple due in February is choosing between us and another couple.
November 2009- It's a match, and it's a BOY!

We are in virginia too. Lynchburg to be exact. Which agency are you using. Have you looked into the one here in Lynchburg? Maybe we can meet for coffee sometime.

hi! i noticed the board has been kind of dead lately!!!

We're in Va, too!! We're matched with a PBmom who lives about an hour away from us We're thrilled!!

looks like we have a lot of international adoptions!! how exciting congrats on traveling to guatemala soon!! that's exciting!!!
