I live in the Alexandria area. We are trying to adopt. The agency we are working with appoved us and now we wait for a birth mother to choose us. We are trying to be patient.

What agency are you using? If you want to talk, please feel free to mesage me. Our wait was almost 2 years to the day. Our son is now 4 years old. I cannot even remember waiting that long!!

We are going through LDS Family Services. We are suppose to be moving in August so we are not sure how that will affect the adoption. After we move we then have to meet all the requirements for the new state. Hopefully it will all work out. Since my husband is in the Military we are not sure where we will be moving next. That makes it really hard to plan. We move in a little over two months and still have no idea where. But that is Military life.

Hi, I'm new here. I didn't adopt yet, just starting to do my reasearch now. I"m not sure wether to do domestic or international. I am from Croatia so I might try to adopt from there.
