question about CHS caseworker
I was born in Richmond, VA, and my first home was Luray Va. I only have a first and middle name that is on my adoption paper. I have no idea which CHS office handled my adoption, or where my aparents went to pick me up- or if I was brought to them. The caseworker was Frances B Goddard, and she is still working- in Culpeper Va. Does anyone have any info about this lady? Maybe she handled your adoption too- if so, can you tell me if she was in Culpeper in 1967? If not there, where?

I have called them and they tell me to call the Roanoke office to speak with the lady that handles adoptees wanting info- Rita Quam. She won't say anything- I even asked her if she could tell me which office I was adopted out of... all she will send me is the info on paying them to search. Thanks anyway.
