Birthmother's beware. She has many alias's. She travels with a golden retriever named Gracie, and is deaf. One wouldn't know she is deaf except for her speech. She pick's you off adoption boards and conveniently chooses the same birthdate as you have posted. She has pulled this scam in many states as well as in Canada. If you should get contact with her, please report. We need to stop her. Thanks.

This individual has a number of alias' and has duped several of us,.. sometimes only talking on the phone for hours letting us think she's our long lost parent/child/etc.

I have pressed charges in Canada against Tinia Holder. The police are working on charging her with impersonation charges with criminal intent. I hope someone can catch her soon. Once the courts have everything in place, she will be caught at the border if she tries to come back to Canada under her current name. I gave them all her alias's that I knew. as for her dog, Gracie will be well taken care of. It is her best friend. As she used to tell me, it was the only thing she could trust.

This doesn't involve this particular imposter but I wanted to share that just prior to signing up for this forum I "lurked" at another less-popular site for months too. I signed in as a B-mom but never posted and never disclosed that I am in reunion.

A week later I was contacted by a female claiming to have read my info and stated she had in her possession several documents that led her to believe we are/ were related. She asked for a $125.00 money order or certified bank check for photo copies.... the local 7-11 makes copies for 25 cents each so I declined. Tracy

Yes it is unbelievable! She is really good at what she does. She is definately a pofessional scammer. When I think back, I saw red lights but ignored them. I wanted her to check her adoption records in Toronto. She would reply, there is no need, you know that I am your daughter. And the strange part was, that she did have characteristics of our family. She would fly into our place with great ideas and before she would give you time to think, you gave her what she was asking for. Our family opened up our homes and love. AND our cheque books. She took advantage of our trusting nature. We will not forget her soon.

GOOD NEWS!!!! SCAMMER ARRESTED!!!!!
Tinia Carol Holder has been ARRESTED on warrants in Iowa. She will then be extradited to Minnesota for warrants against her there. This is the best news I have heard in a long time. Another scammer has bit the dust and won't be hurting anyone else for a very long time.
If she comes to Canada, she will be arrested at the border. Warrants against her have been put in place.

BAD, BAD NEWS!!! Our scammer is on the loose again. She's out of jail in Minnesota and has scammed someone in South Carolina. Please, please, be careful in responding to your postings. She will assume to be the person you are looking for. Give her no money and no information. And definately do not take a cheque from her. Just a warning from someone who has dealt with her.
