I need help in VA finding out my birth mothers last name or some info so I can find her. Social services gave me her last name once and I didn't write it down. I thought at the time it was something I didn't want to pursue. Now I'm kicking myself over it. They won't give it to me now. They have had my case open for several years and only know her maiden name. I am confident that I can find her if I have her maiden name because I know some info about her.

Have you registered with the ISRR at www.isrr.net ?

There are lots of registeries on the web where your can post your information. Some are state specific and some are year specific.

When were you born and where? I had a daughter born in Maryland but she was adopted in Virginia . She was born April 26, 1982.

I was born on February 19, 1976.
I can't remember what her name was. Social Services gave it to me at one time. I forgot to write the name down, which was a total mistake.
