Please Help OUR Cause

On July 1st, the DIA in Vietnam will stop taking dossiers. If your dossier is not LID by then, it will not be accepted. On Sept. 1st, Vietnam will no longer be giving referrals to US citizens. Even if your dossier was LID before 7/1, if you have not received your referral by
9/1, your dossier will be returned and your adoption journey will be ended - without a child.

The director of the DIA in Vietnam, Dr. Long, has indicated that he is willing to grandfather in all dossiers received by July 1st and process their referrals after Sept. 1st. All he wants is the USDOS to send him a letter requesting this. There is a petition that is being signed and will be sent to our Dept. of State, asking them to to please send this letter.

If you have time, could you please sign this petition. It is free (even though once you sign you will be asked to donate. The donations do not help this cause, it goes to the company that does these petitions on-line. So just close the page.

I have the link on my blog. Here is my blog:

There is a Buddhist saying about adoption...
It basically says you and your husband must have loved your baby very much in your previous life, that you were able to find her again in this life.
