I sent off faxes and e-mails to my senators and representatives. Along with a fax to my governor. And on a whim (or temporary insanity), I sent an e-mail to Mr. President and Mr. VP. Hey.......this is important! I want my baby!

Update
I received a letter from the Office of the Vice President in the mail today. I know that it was just a form letter but it did say that they were contacting the Department of State about my(our) issues. The DOS is to respond directly to me with a copy to the VP AND it is to be handled by the DOS at their earliest possible opportunity.
Time will tell what their response will be. But at least they are seeing how concerned we are. Waiting, hoping and praying ~
