Hello Everyone

My name is Monica. Nice to meet you all. I love this site! it , and the people are so helpful, and talking to others who have an interest in adoption is just wonderful. I am new to the Vietnam section. I have been exploring the different types of adoption options, and am very interested in Vietnam. I am single and will be starting the process in 4 yrs. I will be 24 and am wondering what the minimum age to begin international adoption from this country is? Also if anyone would like to recommend agency's that allow singles I would very much appreciate it. --PLEASE PM ME-- Thank you for taking the time to read this! Hello Monica,

To my knowledge most agencies allow singles to adopt. Some may require someone to travel with you during the G&R trip. I don't think I came across an agency that didn't allow singles when I was searching. You will need to show that you have a nice support system. To adopt internationaly you will need to be 25 and I think for Vietnam 21 years older than the child you adopt (someone can correct me if I am wrong). I hope this helps!

Thanks Ami, you were very helpful Vietnam, looks like a great place to adopt from, and all the agency's are open to singles! YaY!! I'll have to wait a few yrs, but that will give me time to save finacially, research more on the country ect. I look forward to interacting more with you all on this board! God Bless
