New to Vietnam Adoption/Agencies that will accept gender preference

Hi everyone,

I am very excited to find this board. I am considering adoption from Vietnam (I was actually born there but immigrated to the US when I was four). Originally, my DH and I wanted to adopt from China but are now considering Vietnam due to the long waits for China.

1. Where else can I find out more about Vietnam adoption such as other websites, etc. There is not as much info out there compared to China.

2. I've started to contact some agencies but a lot of them are not allowing for gender selection. which agencies currently allow gender selection as I would prefer to adopt a girl?

3. Are the wait times starting to increase? This is the sense I get from perusing this board. It also seems like many individuals are considering Vietnam, given the longer waits for China.

I am also curious to know about which agencies accept a gender preference? Anyone?

Try Yahoo webgroups APV. Wait times have increased. I don't know which agency's are allowing gender selection or taking applications.
