CIS ugh...
we still haven't heard anything from CIS. I spoke to our social worker on Friday afternoon and had hoped for news today. It looks like it will be another long week waiting for our I-171H. I just can't help but worry about our baby girl who's waiting to get home to have surgery.

I'm so sorry USCIS is holding you up - we waiting 12 weeks for our 171h for China, but we didn't have a referral. It must be harder knowing that she is out there waiting.
I hope you get it soon! |

I'm so sorry Cathleen.
I waited a long time for mine too, but at least I didn't know who my baby was during the wait.

Thanks Teri and SpecialK.
So the word on the street is that Denver CIS is now taking 12 weeks instead of 4-6 weeks. I haven't heard back from my homestudy agency so I can't confirm this but several people have said the same thing. I'm completely at a loss what this means for our little girl. Cathleen |
