Getting a List together...
Anyone up for starting a couple of list at the different stage we are all at? They do this for Guatemalan site.
Right now we have chosen our placement agency and waiting to hear if we have been accepted. We also are in the process of doing our homestudy update 4/27 and sending off our 1600a. If anyone is up for this let me know. There seems to be lots of new people (me included) adopting from Vietnam and this might help each other!  Cathleen

Currently I am working on choosing an agency.
Once I do that, I will begin to save for the homestudy and make nessasary changes.

That sounds like a great idea. I am almost done with my dossier, fingerprinting appointment is soon.

never posted before, hope I am doing this right...
Hi! This is, per the title, my first post b/c I never activated my account before, though I used the adoption.com Guatemala forum EVERYDAY for info during our last adoption. Anyway, just (sort of) figured it all out. Anyway, we just sent in our application to the agency and scheduled our homestudy update. We also did the BIG step of sending in our I-600A (big b/c it cost so much!) So, we have a ways to go. Our homestudy is early May and I must get cleaning! Thanks for getting the list started!

Hi everyone!
We are narrowing down our agency choices (between PLAN and IAAP). Our previous adoption was in Guatemala, so this will be a new experience for us. I've contacted are homestudy agency and they will have our homestudy updated by the end of May. As soon as we chose an agency my I 600A will be in the mail. I am also going to gather paperwork for the dossier next month so we are all "done" at once around the end of May. I know this is a long explanation but... We are so excited to begin adopting again.

I'm with IAAP and I think they rock. But I"ve also heard good things about PLAN and looked at them seriously. Are you guys wanting a boy or girl?
