Just thought I'd start a thread for all of us to talk about where we are in the process. Have you just began your homestudy, finishing it up, completed, gathering your dossier, waiting on your I117-H, have your LID, etc?

Thankfully our homestudy visits are completed...will go into that more lately. I am just thrilled beyond belief that it is DONE! Our SW should have it written by the end of the week and sent to the USCIS. We got our fingerprint appointment today, yeah! So now I am gathering the docs for our dossier. It's so fun seeing progress!!!

I'd love to hear from everyone about your process!!

Congrats on getting through those homestudy visits. We're in Kansas and, as you can see from my timeline, waiting for our referral. We should be waiting another 3-6 months.

I just finished up my homestudy visits and now am working on the dossier paperwork. I'm sure the notary at my bank is just going to love me!!! I'm hoping to get most of the paperwork done this week and then it's time to figure out the police check, where to go, who to talk to.

I'm in the process of switching from Russia to Vietnam so I'm waiting for my homestudy update before I can submit my I-824 to switch countries on my I-171h. While I'm waiting for my updated I-171h, I'll work on my the other required paperwork.

We have sent our application to our Vietnam agency and started the homestudy process this week....sent the application and busy collecting paperwork.

We are in the process of getting our dossier together. Mailed the I600A waiting to get fingerprinted. Homestudy interview done! 1/2 of dossier documents on their way to the Consulate!!!!

Our homestudy is done, just waiting for the final draft. I have gotten most of the paperchase finished. I just need to get an original marriage certificate. Then take everything for the state certifications. Hopefully, I will be mailing in our I-600A next week. As soon as I do that, I am sending off all the documents that I have to San Francisco to the VN consulate for their seals.

I am SO ready to get this dossier to Vietnam and get in the waiting line for our daughter!!!!!!!

I sent in our I-600A application this afternoon! Now I will be on pins and needles until I get our I-171H approval. Sure hope it doesn't take too long, I don't know how long I can hold my breath. LOL

Hello ! Our dossier came back authenticated today from the SF Consulate !! So it will be on its' way to our agency tomorrow!!!!!!!! We already have our referral for our daughter. Her name is Linhsey Anh. We hope to travel by August for her : )
