Who else is waiting for I-171H?
Our dossier will be mailed to our agency today but it's not complete until the I-171H is here. We were just fingerprinted last Wednesday at the Kansas City office, so here's hoping they're quick!
Anyone else in the 'waiting for the U.S. government' stage of adoption?

I noticed that you're a fellow-Nebraskan and I wanted to say hello. I can't answer your question as I'm in the "waiting for my Marine husband to return from deployment so we can begin our adoption from Vietnam phase!"
DH and I are both from Omaha but stationed in San Diego.

Hi there! We're just a little ahead of you. We got our I-171H last Thursday. We notarized it Thurs., certified on Friday, and Fri. mailed our whole dossier of to be authenticated by the Embassy in Wash., D.C. When we got our prints done it only took ~2wks to get the I-171H, but we're in Houston. Hope you get yours soon!

Just wanted to let you know, I checked on the I-171H waiters list on the guatemala board, and someone got theirs very recently from Kansas City in only 3 weeks~amazing! Hopefully you'll get yours within a couple weeks. They seem like a very fast office!

We got our 171h in September but decided to switch from India to Viet Nam. We are now submitting an I-824 to update our 171h. The turnaround time is supposed to be shorter-hopefully!
