I just got done e-mailing our SW to have our home study updated. It is quite the sad moment for us. Part of our dream is ending, but a whole new part is beginning. We always thought we would go to Guatemala, and at times when we doubted ourselves we looked into other countries. But for the most part, we really believed Guatemala had our baby girl. At this point in time, it just does not seem logical for us to go with that program. I do have a special spot in my heart for that country, and maybe one day after the mess it is currently in, we'll be able to adopt from there. I am happy that we have chosen a good agency, and I hope that we have our referral in 2 months or so.

Best of luck - PM me if you don't mind what agency you went with for Vietnam. That is the other country we looked at before going with Guatemala as well!

We are stuck in the wait of FC into PGN now with two little boys. This is the worst feeling after what we have gone through as well - now it is truly up to God to finish where He lead us. We are giving it all to Him.
