Does anyone know what the current referral and travel times are for Vietnam now?

Hi Linda,
As it stands right now it depends on the agency you are using. Some agencies are moving VERY quickly, and others a bit more slowly. It also depends on the age of the child you are wanting a referral for. The younger the child the longer the wait. I'm seeing some people finishing the process start to finish in under 6 months. There have been rumors of some people finish in 3 & 4 months. BUT most of these adoptions were for children over 12 months old and/or special needs. I know some of the bigger agencies are telling people to expect the process to take 12-18 months. I think it's fairly safe to say that you can expect a 6-10 month wait for a referral and then travel 4-6 weeks after accepting the referral. BUT it all varies with the agency you use! Best of Luck!!
