Hi!
I realize that this program is presently closed to adoptions, but for some reason I am drawn to Vietnam. Could anyone pm me regarding agency use? I would really appreciate this. I am single, 40 and would love to fulfill my dream of having a child.
Also, what are the ages of the children (when they do open up) and has anyone adopted from Vietnam to give personal advise (great experience or not so great)
I would value any piece of advice!

The ages of the children are from 3 months up, there are a large smount of children 2/3 years old waiting to be adopted because of the Vietnam closure.

Your Country must have an Intercountry agreement with Vietnam before adoptions can resume. Relations between the US and Vietnam have got a lot better, Vietnam has applied to join the WTO (World Trade Organisation) I think the US is supporting their application, there is also a large increase in US investment in Vietnam. The only downside is the recent US court ruling not allowing the Agent Orange case to go ahead.

Vietnam welcomes single women adopting, as a rule of thumb the outer age limit is 45 years old.
