Thanks everyone for the congrats.. the father of this child is super excited. I am too..still scared but it will be okay. I just never pictured my life like this.. 2 children 13 months apart with Different fathers.. one father just wants to see his son because he is paying child support (and i can't trust him as far as I can see him, but the courts have different ideas since he is in the ARMY!!!) and one father who is so excited he is driving me up a wall of ideas and questions and just annoying the CRAP out of me. I'm not perfect either but my children are my life and will do anything so they have the best life possible...


just another question.. does anyone have children really really close in age??????

A good friend of mine has kids 14 months apart. She said it was rough when they were little, but she thinks it is great now. They are 7 and 5. The 5 year old will be 6 in June. They play well together, and like she said, she got having kids out of the way and then could work on getting her body back and getting her life back. She's a big fan of kids close in age!!! So, I know she'd tell you how great it is (but it is hard in the beginning - hey that could be the blessing of 2 different dads )

Well I have been hit hard once again.. the father of this baby was killed last night. He went off a curve and flew out into a field. He was ejected from the truck. This morning at 6:52 the call came into 911 (my mom works for the sheriffs office) and some lady found him because it was light out. I'm at a complete loss for myself and this unborn child!!!! As much as he might have hurt me, he was VERY excited about this child!!! He wouldn't leave me alone about names and so on. Now he is GONE forever and will NEVER get to meet his baby!!! And too his family I have the only living piece left of him. boy....where do I go from here

This sounds rather cold given that this just happened but check with Social Security asap. Your baby maybe entiltled to some income until he is 18 yo. That will help you financially.

I'm not sure what what SS will need for paternity so call sooner than later...

Thank you everyone. I knew (even though I thought about adoption) that I was carrying this baby for a reason.. and what a blessing this baby is not and forever will be!!! He is the only living thing left of his father!!!

This has been one LONG weekend!!!!!! I can't go anywhere without something or someone reminding me of Chad. Today is his visitation and tomorrow we will bury a friend, lover, son, brother, uncle, and the father of my unborn son....Something I wish I never had to say or do!!!!!!

I'm going to try and go to work for a few hours today just to be around different people but I don't know how long that will last since I woke up this morning and pretty much lost it!!! I will try!!
