Asking mother for paternaty test.

Hello agian....

Well, I'm not really sure how to go about this. The mother is sure that the child she is pregnant with is mine. I really want to be there for her and support her through this and even after the child is born. But I am unsure if this baby is mine. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I should go about telling the mother I would like a paternaty test?

Thanks

Gather all the information and treat it like a no brainer -- as if the test goes without saying. Say something like here is all the information we need so that we can have this done as quickly as possible...so I can establish my rights.

Treat it as not an option... if she is treating you as the father... and you are doing it together... then just "assume" it goes without saying and that she would want it taken care of as quickly as possible, too.

Good luck!

Do you have to wait for the child to be born to have the test done?
