Hi Everyone!,
Well,we met with "Skye's" girlfriends parents on Saturday.Everything went just fine.The kids told us they wanted to keep the baby.So, we are going to help them raise this child while they finish school.My son knows that he will have to take care of the baby on the weekends.She also will have her weekends too. There will be times of course that the grandparents will watch the baby on a weekend so they will have a little break.

This will be hard for eveyone and your son is going to be a man before he should, but with all the support believe in your heart this is for the best. Congratulations Grandparents to be and we will keep you in our prayers.

My friend with through a similiar situation after she moved to MS and her 18 year old daughter found out she was pregnant. In trying to help her handle their situation, I found out Bethany Christian Services has resources for young moms and their families--counseling, classes, and I think even vocational information. I thought they were just another adoption agency but I think they have quite a few resources for young moms who have decided to keep their babies. To check them out, try www.bethany.org. I think you can type in your area, and it will give you information on resources in your area. Sometimes, it helps to have a friendly face in real life as well as a forum like this.

Well,we are down to 1 week until Skyler's girlfriends ultrasound. Then we will know exact due date.
I checked with the Board of Education to see about alternative schools in the area and what I had to do to get him in.
