I was born in Ware, Hertfordshire, UK, in 1954 - and was adopted from Birth. Recently, I discoverd that I have a 'big brother', born a few years earlier, also in Hertfordshire. Last week, we found out that we have a 'big sister'... and we would love to contact her!

She was born on 29 April 1949 at the Hope Hospital in Salford, Lancs., UK. At birth, she was given the name Mary Concepta Parkinson.

Our mother was Anastasia Parkinson, a nurse from Ireland. She was Roman Catholic and she requested that both my brother and I be brought up Roman Catholic. We must assume the same request was made for our sister.

We are following all the regular channels out there--- but maybe this posting will help short-circuit the system.

I just wanted to wish you luck. Two and a half years ago I found my aunt's two children (she's Irish Catholic), they were missing for 35 years.
