Forced adoptions

Another website worth checking out is www.forced-adoption.com/introduction.asp. This website was given to me by an adoptive father after I told him my story on a British forum. He was so appalled by my story that he first spoke to friend who is a solicitor and deals with family law. The friend told him it was more of a criminal case if I chose to pursue it further. Since then the (a) father has looked at this website and his wife sent an email to the person who set it up with the details of my story and has given him my email address. He made me smile as he did all this then suddenly let me know what they had done but I do appreciate what they have done.

Yes, I'm afraid the secrecy of the court system that deals with child protection and adoption issues in the UK lets down the whole institution of child protection and adoption. It lets our often not very well trained social workers get away with what ever they like. Whilst kids like Victoria Climbié die, because poorly trained poorly supervised social workers daren't even enter the homes where they are. The system needs changing. But that is not going to happen while our current government continues in power. Listening to "stakeholders" by which it means the social work organisations, rather than those whose lives are affected by their misguided policies, while that continues nothing will change for the better.
