We just heard we are traveling Dec 8th and our appt is on the 11th Anyone has any thoughts what to expect when we get there. We have been in the procss. for over 2.5 years.

I am an old-timer, the process has changed so much since our adoption. Keep a journal because you will forget. Try to live in the moment and don't stress over what is to come.

What to expect seems to vary greatly, depending on the agency you're working with.

We had our NAC appointment on December 21st last year. We did 2 trips, one in December and one in February 2006. There is a lot of information on our blog (if you have the energy to plough through it). You should look on the Ukraine section of FRUA, there is a list of a bunch of people that have December appointments. I also have a friend that has a December 7 appointment. I can give you ideas on what to expect with general travel etc in Ukraine, but no idea how the new system in Kiev is going
