Well I'm with you on this one. We heard she still wasn't in today. I'd like to see someone else move into that postition while she is out so that our dossiers will still move forward. This is extremely hard!!

Does anyone have an update on how the director is doing? Will her time out be extensive...is she returning to her role there? Is there an assistant director or someone who can take over while she is out etc

# on medical form
I have not heard any news about the director, but yesterday on the U.S embassy in kiev's web page they posted a medical form that requires numbers for lab work done.
I really do not know how this will effect familys who have submitted their dossier we can only hope they are adding this requirement of numbers for those that will be submitting thier dossiers and not send ours back to ba redone like they did eariler this year. JTR ![]() |

Yes I saw that too and to my understanding, it was specifically for patient id #........which means if I had put lab #'s those would have been 2 different #'s.
Now with it being a patient id #, it should be the same # for both lines as there is only one "patient". Not sure how they are going to handle that from already submitted dossiers though......... I would think it would be okay |

Dear jtr and honeybeeto4,
The Ukrainian medical form hasn't changed, this was just a concession to American system that does not universally support test results recorded under unique numbers. However, most clinics and lab identify patients by unique IDs, and then there are social security numbers that can be used in place, and everyone has one of those. So if you have already submitted your dossier with unique numbers in them for test results, you should be fine, and if you are redoing the forms or starting fresh, maybe it would be slightly better to use patient IDs as directed by U.S. Embassy. Sincerely, Victoria |

numbers
V_KATS:
So if a dossier was submitted and these numbers were on it, it should be ok? But if a dossier was submitted with out these numbers will it be rejected for sure? Also have you heard anything about the director and what to expect? Will you let us know as soon as you hear anything? |
