My agency called last week to tell me that they will have a travel date for us by the end of this week.

That is true. A number of IUAFN families are also reporting getting appointments this week and last week.

Check with your translator in Ukraine to see what is going on with your file.

To let all of you know, I had an appointment on the 17th of November. Luckly my Agency was able to get in-touch with me before my flight as my appointment has been moved to Dec 1st! Has this happened to anyone else?

I spoke with my Translator today 11/14 and he said no more appointment are being given out for this year. If you are waiting for an appointment it will be after their Holiday break which is the 1/12/04. Good luck to all.

Yes, it is very tough! I had an appointment for 11/17 and it was changed to 12/01.... and I am very lucky. Next year laws will be changed for Ukraine

Hello, We are dealing with www.hearttoheartukraine.org and we were told that we have our appointment on Jan. 5th although if all of our paperwork gets in sooner that we could leave sooner. I think that it depends on your facilitator and their conections on how long of a waite and how long you stay in Ukraine. Our total trip will be 14 days and that includes 2-3 days in Warsaw.
