Hi! my name is Michelle i live in the UK i have four children aged vfrom 4 to 10 years old. I am now six months pregnant with no clue as to what is best for my family. I was dating a person who was absoloutly perfect with the kids and was not the kids father but treated them as he was or so i thought i have recently found out that he was abusing one of my little girls and that he has prior convictions for similar offences i am pregnant with his child i cant keep it it isnt fair on me or my kids or can i i am a very maternal person and i dont know what to do i need help please contact me. I have also looked into every avenue but it seems that if i keep the child then he will always be a part of my familys life as he would prob get visitation rights in a contact centre even after his missdemeanours this is the only way i can see the child having a better and safer upbringing

When I gave my son up in the sixties.. I did it for his sake.. I knew I could not care for him.. I was unprepared.. unable..

Do you have a way to get to therapy or a counselor? Such a major life decision..
There are a lot of women that handle giving up a baby just fine.. some have trouble..
Its about honoring our loss.. honoring our grief and traveling through it..

So I say to you it can be done.. and when one thinks of the child.. the child may be in a good place where he or she does not have so many issues surrounding he or she..and in OA you can know about it..

Sounds like you should get a restraining order against him to keep him away from ALL your children- even your unborn child - the courts will not let him have anything to do with the child/children BUT WILL make him pay child support for the child he fathered - please just don't take your anger and disgust towards him out on your unborn baby by rejecting the baby through adoption- the baby is YOURS ALSO and the baby will love you despite him - best, Fallen
