Hi,

I called social services today, and they are getting his social worker to come and talk to me about this little boy, but she did say that they were looking for a placement for him outside of our area! so it's not looking good :-(

I am assuming as the little boy is in the same school as your son, that you live in the same area as him now? Did the social worker elaborate on why they want to place him outside of your area?

hi again,

yes my son and this boy are in the same class (but there is a years age difference as they kept this boy behind a year) and yes we live in the same area.

She said they had been looking outside our area but will consider any home that is suitable for him, so she is getting his social worker to come and see me.

can you believe it, after so many phonecalls and emails i'm still waiting for his social worker to come see me!!

on a positive note, this boy came for the afternoon and he got on really well with my kids, loved the dog, and when we puled up outside my house, he asked if this is where we lived, i said yes and he said,..... "cool i love posh houses" lol we are anything but posh, just a normal house lol

i have photos of the kids together but i'm not sure if i'm allowed to post them

it took about another 3 months to actually hear from someone!
and after all of that they said no as they need him out of the area,

he's still waiting for a home, its so upsetting!
