I'm not really sure what I'm looking for. I suppose I just want a little information about who my birth parents were, and the reason behind my adoption. All I know is that I was born in Gildford England March 01, 1968. I also know I spent some time in an orphanage. I somehow ended up in Italy where my adoptive parents picked me up (I was 11 months old then). I am of Italian descent, so maybe that's where my birth parents are from originally. The orphanage I was in could have been in Italy, not sure. I have very limited information. I do not want to ask my adoptive parents questions. My mother would be very hurt. So that's it I guess. I hope someone may have some info. Thank you.

I received my non-identifying information and found out my birth parents were from Gozo, Malta. To aviod a scandal, my birth mom went to England to give birth. She gave birth in a home for unwed mothers (Asissi home). I was either born on March 1, or Feb. 29, 1968 which was a leap year. I remained with my mother from the time she gave birth until April when she left to go back to Malta. I was placed with the Catholic Children's society. My birth father was married with children at the time, so I have half siblings. My mother would be appr. 60 years old now and my birth father appr. 71. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
