Help With FRIZZY Hair..............

My DD came home from Guatemala 3 1/2 years ago. She has beautiful long curls that tangles something horrible. It also gets frizzy just around her hairline. Around her face and forhead.
Her hair isn't a bit dry it just frizzes.
Her daily routine is spritz it with a water bottle when she gets up, then I usually put in a leave in conditioner (even though it isn't dry) and either a mouse or serum that is suppose to control the frizz.
But it doesn't last but a few hours. She starts 5K next year so I will not be able to do that often throughout the day.
Can anyone recommend a product that will control frizz? Her hair is very soft, normal texture, and very long curls.
I have spent a fortune on hair products such as:
John Freida shampoo, mouse, conditioner, serum
Paul Mitchell "skinny" serum
Bed Head's end zone
Garnier Fruittesse shampoo, leave in conditioner
Just 4 me, conditioning detangler, serum, hair cream
Well you get the picture.
HELP!
Thanks for any suggestions

Maybe Garnier no frizz curl gel. Hard to say though - as you already know, trial and error. I just had to post and say how beautiful she is....both kids are cuties!

What adorable girls!!

My DD's hair texture is different, but does look "frizzy" by the end of the day (I wonder if it's unavoidable?!). But I do love the Matrix Curl Life products...particularly the contouring milk.

Cute girls!

Check out NaturallyCurly.com first to determine her hair type and then go to the Curl Mart to see the recommended products. It's trial and error with products.

Just be aware it will be product overload. Probably half of the products claim to have some frizz control. You may want to go to the manufacturers site to see if they have any videos of the products being used. If they don't have videos go to youtube. Gotta love the everyday people reviews.

Hard to beleive that a year ago today we landed in Vietnam to bring home Zane (ds). It has been a very fast year.
Thanks again!

First of all, your kids are so cute!!

Second, I have very curly hair like your daughter's, and I struggled most of my life with tangles and frizz. I WISH I'd had this book when I was younger: Amazon.com: Curly Girl (0019628123008): Lorraine Massey, Deborah Chiel: Books

(Not that you have to follow her methods, but it totally changed how I think about my hair, in a really positive way, including frizz control.)

For frizz, I use the gel made by the woman who wrote the book: DevaCurl AnGell 12 FL OZ | Deva Concepts Her other products are great for curls as well. Not cheap, especially for a kid, but a little goes a long way, and at least for me they're the best stuff I've found for my hair.

Ironically, my DD, who is also from Guatemala, has the stick straight hair I coveted as a child! (Though tangles are still an issue.)

mombyfaith, I can't give any advice, since I am also still trying stuff for my daughter's hair!

I just wanted to say that my daughter is also from Guatemala (she's almost 8), and has hair that looks JUST LIKE your daughter's! Beautiful! But....it's very prone to tangling and gets frizzy. It seems like I am always having to spend time on it. And by the time she gets home from school, it's just a mess.

I guess I'll try some of these suggestions, too.

OH She is so beautiful!!! what luxurious hair! I am on an adoption hair and skin care yahoo group and there is a lady on there who has a website, it's for biracial hair but your daughter's curls may benefit from her info....look at how her curls are defined on her home page....not a friz in sight! Hope it helps you
