New here and saying hi
Hi Everyone,
My husband and I are new to this site and just wanted to introduce ourselves. Our names are Steph and Dan are we are currently parenting two great kids we adopted from Russia 3 years ago. They are now 6 and 9 and we are ready to grow our family once again. We decided to go domestic this time because of the travel. We were open to race and gender and were matched rather quickly through a great agency (PM if you would like the information on who). We are matched with a great birthmom and are expecting our baby at the end of November. We are a cauccassian family and are adopting an african-american infant. So wanted to start here to meet other families that we can share the experience with! All the best to everyone and we will update you as our new journey continues!! Steph and Dan

It's great to have you! I hope we're able to provide you with any support you might need. We have a 7 yr old son from Guatemala and a 21 month old AA son. I love these boards!!

Hi, I'm new here too... looks like we're on this journey at about the same stage.
We have two bio kids but for #3 we decided to go with adoption and are in the homestudy process still. Hope everything goes smoothly for you, Steph!

Our kiddos:    Timeline: 11/04 - Bio kid, Curly Miss Born 8/05 - Completed PRIDE Training 2/06 - Licensed as foster parents 3/06 - Got a call but had to say no, pg w/ Little Mister and VERY sick  10/06 - Bio kid, Little Mister born 4/07 - Moved to a different state. Have to start over... 8/08 - Began homestudy process with domestic transracial agency. Hope to be approved by Christmas. 11/22 - Home Visit Scheduled. Hi & Welcome! We have a 5 year old daughter adopted from Guatemala and just recently adopted our baby girl in September who is Bi-racial. I love these boards and getting so much info from others here
