Age restrictions
I am 44 and my DH is 47. We have a 3 year old from Guatemala. If we wanted to adopt a Latino, AA or BR child would this be an obstical for domestic adoption?

Do you have an agency you are going thru? They can give you the information you are seeking.
You might also go to the forum of 40 and older adoption. Lots of people have had the experience of adopting at your age and can give you lots of insight. I was 41 and dh was 43 when we adopted our youngest son. Wishing you lots of luck on your future adoption!

Hi, I am 40 and my SO is 47 and we adopted our son a few months ago, I dont think age was an issue. We adopted our daughter last year.
We went domestic, dd is latino and ds is AA. Good luck |
