I love this forum. DW and I were looking to adopt cc or biracial with anything but AA. That decision was made because of our fear of being rejected by family, turns out it was just ignorance. We have grown
Anyway, not a hijack, we had a little 8 yr old Mexican girl placed with us for adoption. She is the light of our lives.

I don't even see skin color as a difference. She is just our daughter, regardless of how she looks. It is kinda fun to see the look on peoples faces when they see us walking hand in hand, and her saying "Daddy" or "Mommy." The hardest looks come from Hispanics.
I guess the point is, we were looking for CC or biracial, and ended up falling in love with a little girl that is a completely different race.
Good for you, everybody, for breaking through the ignorance and following your hearts.
