Required Reading for HS/ Adoption of AA child
Aside from 'I'm Chocolate..." which we have on order. Can you suggest websites, articles and books we should read to prepare for our HS and adoption of an AA child? Esp. considering we live in a very uniformly white community in Northern Ontario (canada).
Thank you! L |

A book that I really like alot was "The Complete Idiots Guide to Adoption" It was easy to read & very helpful. Another one is "Twenty Things Adopted Kids Wish their Adopted Parents Knew". "I'm Chocolate, You're Vanilla" is VERY good!! Also, subsrcibe to "Adoptive Families" magazine. It is FULL of great help!!!!!!
