Books on Transracial Adoption

Hubby and I are currently in the middle of the homestudy process. We should have everything wrapped up by mid-April.

I've been lurking on this site and have gained a lot of insight. I've enjoyed reading everyone's stories about how transracial adoption can and does work. Hubby and I are open to any race and are excited about the prospect of transracial adoption.

Could anyone recommend any books? I have been searching Amazon.com but find it overwhelming at times!!

Thanks!

I read "I'm Chocolate, you're vanilla" awhile ago. It is a good one.

I also liked "Why are all the black kids sitting together in the cafeteria?" It was good.

I second I'm Chocolate, You're Vanilla. It's excellent.

Also, I really enjoyed the memoir the Color of Water: A Black Man's Tribute to His White Mother. They are bio related, but it's a fantastic read.
