He is less that 48 hours old! 11/15/08 - FINALIZE in St. Louis on National Adoption Day! 06/22/09 - Maybe we should do this again?  06/25/09 - Start the official paperwork to update our home study and make Tyler a big brother.  07/13/09 - Match with a 2.5 month old baby BOY!  07/28/09 - Matty is in our arms! 04/07 - Completed PRIDE training and foster/adopt home study 06/07 - Switched to domestic adoption 09/07 - Home study converted to domestic adoption 10/22/07 - Matched!!! 11/16/07 - Baby J born 11/17/07 - BF decided to parent 02/09/08 - Matched!!! 02/14/08 - Backed out of match...too many possible medical concerns. 03/18/08 - Matched to baby boy born 03/15/08 03/19/08 - Devin placed in our arms

9/07 - Matched with birthmom through a mutual friend 11/30/07 - Homestudy complete! 2/27/08 - Match failed - birthmom never signed papers  5/5/08 - signed with new agency 5/12/08 - chosen by birtmom! 6/8/08 - it's a girl! 6/17/08 - Home forever with our little girl!  12/15/08 - FINALIZED!   5/7/09 - Homestudy approved for #2! 1/27/09 - present - several leads, but none have panned out.

Here are my babies!
 Just last night Troy was sitting on my lap while I was surfing the forums. He saw the pic of Ty and he kept pointing and saying "Troy" "Troy"!

I am so excited... I just got a new couch and chair that are totally slipcovered. All the fabric on the furniture comes off and can be washed! A godsend with 3 little ones and dog! I even got an extra cover so I can chose between denim and green depending on my mood or current decorating style!

Aug-Signed w/ agency....canceled w/ agency.
9/18/08-10pm, got call about little girl born early that morning! We've been chosen and need to be there to pick up baby from the hospital!!!!! Sept-Started HS; 3 visits: 9/2/08, 9/15/08, 9/18/08 9/15/08-Got a call about a little girl on the 12th. Profile shown. Not chosen. 9/15/08-MATCHED!! 9/17/08-Unmatched do to situation being too difficult... 9/17/08-Profile being shown to birthmom that has given birth!!! Never heard back 9/19/08-Met baby, birthmom, and birthmom's mother!!! 9/20/08-Discharged from hospital with baby!!! 10/2/08-ICPC paperwork submitted....FINALLY! Only a few more days until we can go home!!! 10/7/08-ICPC granted! We're home!!!
Only 16 days from start of home study to holding our beautiful daughter in our arms! God works miracles!!
