On Monday night we had a conference call with a potential Birth mother and birthfather. Later that evening we found out that we were matched! We are very excited. This precious baby is due Nov. 1. We will be having an open adoption like we were hoping for. We are so excited to get to know the potential birth parents. Birthmom is hispanic and birthdad is AA.

Congratulations!! We were just matched a week and a half ago and bmom's due date is Oct. 2nd. So we now wait some more and I understand how you feel!!!

Yahoo! Prasie God! We have finally been matched with a **!
She is due Nov. 7!! It's a boy, and will be an open adoption!
We are excited and nervous.
It has been a long (7 years TTC, 1.5years waiting for a match)
time coming, but GOd is good and faithful!

For those, waiting, hold steady. God has YOUR child out there, maybe He's not finised with His plans yet, but they will come to pass. After having 7 precalls, and 3 **'s deciding to parent...we've been matched!

Our son is AA, we are not, but we are all God's children.
Does anyone know of any support groups in the Cleveland, Ohio area for transracial adoptions???

I just read your signature. Our youngest son's name is Caleb. He is 13 months. BUT... I wanted to name him Caden, same as your other son! LOL I wanted Caden with all 3 adoptions! The other 2 were daughters, Cylie & Cirrah. We choose Caleb this time because we let our oldest son who is 14 name his baby brother. He choose Caleb. The next day I was talking to the Bmom & asked her about names. She told me that her favorite name was CALEB!! So Caleb was meant to be. I lost out on CADEN again but I couldn't let fate pass by.

MAYBE next time! LOL Hubby would have a heart attack if I told him I wanted another! We also have 5 children! LOL
