Adoptions from Ethiopia?
Has anyone out there adopted from Ethiopia?
I am 42 and single and currently completing my home study. For a number of reasons am seriously considering Ethiopia, but would like to have some contact with people who have already adopted from there. I am interested in knowing about the process and adjustment issues specific to Ethiopian children. I hope to adopt a child between 18 months and three years of age.

My sister came home from Ethiopia in 2001. She was around 3 when she came home and is turning 6 this spring. It took her several months especially regarding the language barrier but she is completely integrated into her family now and has been for a long time.

Thanks mom2. Do you recall how long the entire adoption process took to bring your sister home?
