I have been searching the internet for information about adopting a hispanic/caucasion infant. I can't find anything. Any insight would be welcomed

My daughter is hispanic, and I am causasian, and I found NOTHING out there about the subject. There is a TON of information about caucasians adopting black children, but nada for hispanic kids. I am lucky to live in Texas, where hispanic (Mexican) culture is fairly prominent, so I can keep my daughter somewhat connected to her heritage.

If you find out any info., PLEASE post it here - I would love to see it.

I have two sons - 7yo is Caucasian/unspecified Central or South American - 3yo is Italian/Peruvian. The oldest has brown hair and eyes and has an olive complexion. The youngest has light brown hair, green eyes, and a medium complexion with olive hues. To top it off they now have a Norwegian last name!

I'm the opposite - dark brown hair, blue eyes, medium complexion. The irony is that I am the only one of the three of us born south of the border (Panama).

Our family has explored many cultures via food, museum exhibits, festivals.

What kind of information are you looking for? Info on how to find an infant of that specific heritage, or things to think about before you do, or how to raise them later (especially if your nationality is different)? Or something else?

My husband and I are Caucasian, and we're looking to adopt Caucasian or Hispanic children from the state foster care system. If you're looking for information about raising Hispanic or Hispanic/Caucasian children in a Caucasian society, you're right that there isn't much at all. Some of the "Cauc raising AA" info is useful, but not all. But there are some sites and books starting to pop up for those parents who are adopting from Guatemala, since there is such a high number of people currently doing that. (But that's all centered on Guatemalan culture--not much help if the "hispanic" in the child comes from a different country like Mexico or Mexican-American.)
