We have submitted our name (file) for a 5 month old child. The staffing is scheduled in a couple of weeks. Can anyone tell me how this really works. What is discussed and how the group selects a family.

Our social worker is great but she really hasn't given us much detail on staffing except that she will attend the staffing and present our family. Answer questions any one might have about us.

But as far as what the group in the staffing is looking for or what the deciding factor is for their decision we have no idea.

I am hoping that someone who has been involved in a staffing can give us some insight as to how this works.

For the first time in this whole process I feel as though we are in the dark.
