My husband and I are meeting with an agency soon, and hopefully getting started on the road to adopting a child of color (we're both CC). If you have adopted transracially or are a multicultural family, what are some of the issues you've faced as a multicultural family in Georgia? Neither of us are GA natives; we live in much-less diverse neighborhood than the one we left in CA, but there is SOME diversity where we live. What are/have been some of your concerns as your children grow up here? Are there parts of Atlanta/GA where multicultural families are more "accepted" than others?
